We recommend that you monitor the coolant level in your vehicle daily to reduce the likelihood of mechanical breakdown. You should check the oil when the engine is cool, first thing in the morning is a good time to do this.
If you notice the coolant level is below the ‘minimum’ mark, refill only to FULL mark, not more as you will risk overfilling. Only open the coolant container when the engine is cool, as this is a pressurized system. If you notice a leak or if the level of coolant is decreasing quickly, contact Travellers Autobarn for assistance immediately.
If you need to refill the coolant in your vehicle, match the colour (pink or green) of the coolant already in the vehicle. Only use water if absolutely necessary.
If at any point while driving you notice the engine temperature gauge going up, stop the vehicle immediately and contact Travellers Autobarn for assistance. Driving an overheating engine can cause SEVERE damage.
