This is a list of the extra charges that can apply to a USA rental, depending on your booking and how the rental goes. Our Terms and Conditions always apply and give the full detail.
On return
- Fuel not full: the current per-gallon fuel cost plus a $50 refuelling fee.
- Propane not full: $50 refill fee, unless you bought the prepaid propane option.
- Cleaning: $100 Standard Cleaning Fee, or an Extra Cleaning Fee of at least $200.
- Late return: there is a 59-minute grace period after your return time. After that, a $250 late fee applies and further charges can apply.
Payments
- Visa, MasterCard and American Express: a non-refundable card fee applies, currently 3%. Your booking confirmation shows the current rate.
Tolls and violations
- Tolls: the face value and any taxes or fees, plus a $5.80 administrative fee per toll.
- Violations: the face value and taxes, plus a non-refundable processing fee of up to $50.
- Transferring liability to you: an administrative fee of up to $50 per toll or violation.
Changing your booking
- Changes 15 to 28 days before pick-up: $100 change of booking fee.
- Changes less than 14 days before pick-up: $250 change of booking fee.
- Early return: if a credit voucher is issued, a $100 administrative fee is deducted from it.
Optional extras
- Collision Damage Waiver: $13 to $16 per day, depending on the vehicle.
- Living kit: $45 for 2 and 3 berth campervans, $75 for 4 berth campervans.
- Child restraint: $45 per rental.
Pets
- Pets are allowed in the Kuga and Hitop only, with a non-refundable $150 pet fee per rental.
- Undisclosed pets: $250 fee.
