You are supplied with a 15 amp 240v power lead with your campervan. This allows you to connect to mains power at a camping ground and operate your 240v power sockets and microwave.
Campervan power leads in New Zealand are fitted with a heavy duty 15 amp connection (round pins) therefore it will unfortunately not fit into a general power socket. All camping grounds with powered sites in New Zealand are set up for 15 amp connections.
