San Francisco – the city of the Golden Gate Bridge. San Fran is a great starting or stopping spot for your campervan road trip adventure. The city itself has a lot to offer – its famous trams, The Rock or just cycling over the Golden Gate Bridge – it’s amazing.
It’s also a great spot to start your campervan trip down the coast to Los Angeles or to visit the famous Yosemite National Park.
To get to our depot we advise you to take an Uber or Lyft.
Our pick-up times are from 10 am to 4 pm and return times 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Saturday.
HOW TO GET HERE FROM THE AIRPORT
- The public transport getting to the depot is not very straight forward, so we always recommend getting a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. The depot is located about a 25-minute drive away from the airport. A taxi will cost $110-170 and an Uber will cost $50-60.
- Public transport will take significantly longer however it is also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than an uber at about $8-$10/person and that includes BART and City Bus. Use the public transport directions on google maps for detailed departure times and instructions.
HOW TO GET HERE FROM THE CITY
- We highly recommend getting a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to our depot from downtown San Francisco. The trip will take 30 - 40 minutes and an Uber will cost $50-70
- You can get public transport from downtown taking BART that heads in the "Warm Springs/South Fremont" direction. Get off at the Hayward branch and catch the 86 bus from Hayward to Mack St: W Winton Avenue. This trip will usually take 1 hour 10 minutes.
