Problem: Your sink is not draining properly.
Possible Solutions:
1. Use a Drain cleaner
- Caution: Always follow the instructions on the label.
1. Remove Debris:
- Please purchase a drain snake or a long, sturdy wire to remove hair or other debris from the drain. Do this by bending a slight hook in a wire and inserting it into your drain to see if you can clear some debris.
5. Check the Breather Line (America and New Zealand)
Open your grey water tank (If applicable) and see if the sink drains. If it does, this indicates your breather line is blocked.
- What is a breather line? It's a small pipe that allows air to enter the drain system, preventing a vacuum that can trap water.
- How to check it:
- Locate the breather line: It's a small pipe underneath your van
- Inspect for clogs: Look for any debris or obstructions.
- Clear the clog: Use a small, flexible wire to remove any blockage.
