Our campervans are built on commercial work vehicles, so you will hear more road noise than in a car. A slight gap around a door is common on these vans and is not always a fault.
Tips if you notice a gap or extra noise
- Close the door firmly and check that it has latched fully.
- Check that nothing is caught in the door, such as a seatbelt, curtain or bag strap.
- Check that the rubber seal is sitting flat and has not come out of place. If it has, press it back in by hand.
- Secure loose items in cupboards and drawers, as these are often the source of rattles.
If wind or water is coming in
Waterproof tape over the gap is a good temporary fix. You can buy it from most hardware or department stores. Keep your receipt and send it to Customer Care for review.
When to contact us
Contact Customer Care with a photo or short video if the door will not close properly, the seal is damaged, or water is getting in.
