Engine warning light:
One of the most sensitive lights on a Ford, the check engine light has two warning levels. For less serious issues (assuming the vehicle is operating normally), the light will stay on but remain steady. If the light blinks, however, there is a major issue. You should stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and contact us. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page. If the light remains steady you can continue to drive the vehicle however you should call us as soon as possible to advise us that this light is on. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
ABS warning light:
When the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) light flips on, the normal braking system is working fine, but the ABS is malfunctioning. Unless the separate BRAKE warning system comes on, continue driving but call us as soon as possible to advise us that this light is on. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Park brake warning light:
This light indicates that the parking brake (hand brake) is engaged and the light will turn off after you have disengaged it.

If this warning light illuminates during normal driving you should stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and contact us. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Charging system warning light:
If the battery warning light comes on this indicates a malfunction in the vehicles charging system (alternator). You should stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and contact us. If you continue to drive the vehicle will eventually stop running (and without further warning). Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

This light is triggered only when the vehicle’s internal temperature is well beyond where it should be. Switch the vehicle off as soon as possible and let the engine cool down. More than likely, you have run out of coolant, or there is a serious issue with the temperature gauge. Check your coolant levels. If you’re at the appropriate amount, do not move your car and contact us for roadside assistance. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
